Popple for schools
One page for the person who has to approve it. Forward it as-is.
What it is
Popple is a set of poetry instruments and a worksheet Builder. A teacher picks a poetry form and a year level, declares class groups by count (for example Support 6, Core 14, Stretch 5), and downloads a differentiated class set: same task, three depths of scaffolding, a different variant for every student, reprintable forever from its seed. Worksheets are printable PDFs; there is also a no-account writing screen.
What it costs
- Unlimited Downloads — US $20 per year. Unlimited builder worksheets. Unlimited randomised class sets. Free re-downloads and share links. No ads anywhere on popple.
The first three Builder downloads are free, with no card required. Unlimited Downloads is on sale now through the packs page; it covers one teacher and all of their classes. A department plan — seats for an English faculty, an admin view and class-set oversight — is in development. If your school needs one, tell us what it has to do.
Privacy, in one paragraph
Students do not need an account or an email address to use the poetry instruments, and a teacher can print or share sheets without signing anyone up. When someone saves a piece in an instrument, we store the text, any title, an optional display name, the painting or source it was made from, and the time; a public gallery shows a piece only after review. The worksheet builder is the one place with a sign-in (an emailed link): for whoever signs in, teacher or student, we store the email, the chosen role, download counts (form, level, seed) and token hashes. Visits are counted in aggregate by day. We do not ask for a student's real name, and a display name is optional. The full notice is the privacy page, written to be read by a person, and it is the document of record if anything here and there differ.
Accessibility
Worksheets are designed to print cleanly in black and white on a school printer. Differentiated sheets are the same length and appearance at every depth, so no student can read their level off the page. The site's published accessibility statement covers the rest, including how to report a barrier.
Buying it
Unlimited Downloads is bought by card through Stripe. If your school needs a purchase order, a tax invoice or a data processing agreement, email hello@popplepoetry.com before you subscribe and we will tell you what we can provide. The terms page sets out renewal, cancellation and refunds.
